Your health information is personal. We believe it should stay that way. MedRemind+ does not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

2. Data We Collect (And Don't Collect)

What we DO handle locally:

  • Medication Schedules: Names, dosages, and times you enter.
  • Photos: Images you take of your medication packaging.
  • Caregiver Contacts: Phone numbers you optionally add for alerts.
  • Notification Preferences: Your settings for alerts and sounds.

What we DO NOT collect:

  • We do not collect medical diagnoses or health history.
  • We do not track your location.
  • We do not access your contacts list (except the specific caregiver you add).
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Where Data is Stored

All information you enter into MedRemind+ is stored locally on your device.

  • We do not have servers that store your medication list.
  • We cannot see your photos.
  • If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it (unless you have your own device backups enabled).

4. Photos and Camera Access

We ask for permission to use your camera and photo library solely to let you add images of your medication to your reminders. These images never leave your phone.

5. Notifications

We use your device's local notification system to send reminders. No remote servers are involved in triggering these alerts.
